Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the "Cupzilla Korean BBQ & Double IPA Showcase" on 04/01/2016. Impossible not to think of Tommy Boy. The beer pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of piney hops, citrus and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short resiny hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
