Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
On draught at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
