Sample at the High Gravity Hullabaloo on 02/06/2016. The beer pours an inky black color with a medium khaki head that recedes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, roast malt, coffee and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, caramel malt, roast coffee and a bit of fruit. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and rich malt aftertaste. Really good beer all around.
