Sample at the "Tap Room Anniversary with Special Bottle Release" event on 01/23/2016. The beer pours black with a medium khaki head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, mint and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted malt, chocolate and subtle mint. The finish is roasty with a chocolatey aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
