Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter
This slightly sweet porter is brewed with select additions of crystal malts and sea salt to create flavors of peanut brittle and caramel without being cloying. The medium body and mouthfeel lay the perfect foundation to support the rich vanilla, oak, and bourbon flavors imparted by extended aging in bourbon barrels.

Yeah, this is 9.5% abv. Pours near black with a small tan head. It smells of caramel, roast malt, and a little bourbon. The flavor is of roast malt, caramel, chocolate, bourbon, and salt. It's full bodied and very good.

From a 355ml can on 9/2/2021(ABV is listed as 9.5% not 6%, so may be different to any 6% version!). Pours a deep dark brown with a smallish head. The nose features some caramel and toffee against a mild bourbon background. Tastes pretty sweet with oodles of caramel, a touch of butterscotch and toffee, with light bourbon kicking in again. The mouthfeel is a bit syrupy, the carbonation. Doesn't drink like anything approaching 10 per cent. Not a world beater but very solid and enjoyable.

Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, chocolate, oak, vanilla, bourbon and coconut. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel, chocolate, vanilla, oak, bourbon and coconut finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Almost black with a frothy, beige head. Aroma a mix of bourbon and candy store. Taste is a mix of sour and sweet. Not sure how much of the sourness is intended—maybe in the early stages of going off. I’ve had this before though, particularly in low ABV bourbon aged brews, so who knows. Still quite pleasant. Not noticing any saltiness. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Good.
