Sample at the taproom. Brownish-black color with a medium creamy tan head that recedes quickly to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and mild coffee. Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, with some sweet chocolate in the background. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
