Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the Pumpkin Carving Party on 10/22/2015. Clear dark brownish-amber color with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Oak, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, roast malt, caramel and subtle bourbon. The finish is fruity and malty with a subtle oak aftertaste. Decent overall.
