Sample at the taproom. Dark brown color with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, roast coffee, and mild hops. The finish is roasty with a malt and bittersweet chocolate aftertaste. Above average overall.
