Sample at the brewpub during the Pumpkin Ale Release Party on 10/01/2015. Brownish-black color with a medium beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium body with flavors of dark chocolate, roasted malt and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malt and coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.
