Sample at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and mild coffee. Light-bodied with a roasty coffee and chocolate malt character. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
