Pours a slightly hazy, gold-yellow, with minimal head. Aroma is very dank, with a definite sour towel/washcloth odor to it. Flavor is very hop-heavy, with a touch of alcohol burn to it. Very bitter. Could perhaps use some more balance. Still, pretty good on the whole.

On tap at Ratebeer Best. Pours a cloudy dark orange with small white head. The aroma is dank, pine, rye malt. Medium body, citrus, nice hop bite, rye, lingering resin finish, very good.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with a beige head. Aroma is hoppy, but types are obscure for me. Med+ body. Flavor is malt, herb, fruit, a Belgian Candi aspect is with the malt. Not heat. Not even in the gullet. Certainly not dry; not super bitter. But incredibly flavorful. Making me think hoppy barley wine. Supercalifragalisitic......

On tap at Apex, pours a clear copper golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney and resinous hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is sweet and potent, with lots of sweet caramel malt, resinous hops, and candied sugar. High residual sweetness that makes this rather cloying. Good stuff, but a bit abrasive.

On tap at apex. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big sweet resin hop nose. The flavor is big resin, lemons, bitterness, hot. Oranges. The alcohol shows a bit. Very much a triple IPA. Resinous sugary base.

[1/31/16] Draught sample at RateBeer Best festival in Santa Rosa. Deep golden-copper. Aroma of malt, oniony hops. Sweet malt flavor with bitter oniony hops. A bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied.

Clear dark golden with a small off-white head, good lacing. Aroma is floral and caramel. Taste is floral and pine resin

On tap at the 2016 SF beer week opening gala. It pours a deep golden color with an off white head. The aroma is peachy and floral. The flavor is the some. Oily peaches, flowers with a little honey in the finish. Clean. Medium floral bitterness. Good.

Sample at the Bistro’s DIPA-festival 2015. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Fresh and nicely drinkable with hops, grapefruit, pineapple and mango. Smooth and balanced. I liked this one.
