Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Sample at the taproom. Pours a jet black color with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, spices and citrus in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of roast malt, cinnamon and chocolate-covered orange. The finish is roasty with a malt and spice aftertaste. Above average overall.
