Sample from cask at the 11th annual Barley’s Mini Real Ale Fest on 06/07/14: Brownish-black with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, malt and cherries. Medium-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, vanilla and cherry. The finish is sweet vanilla and chocolate-covered cherries. Pretty good overall.
