Sample from cask at the 11th annual Barley’s Mini Real Ale Fest on 06/07/14: Orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, dark fruit and yeast. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy yeast and figs. The finish is malty with a dark fruit aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
