Sample at the brewpub. Clear dark amber color with a thin off-white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of smoked malt and hops. Light-bodied with a smoky character and flavors of roast malt and mild hops. The finish is smoky with a charred malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
