Sample at the taproom. The beer pours a dark brownish-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that recedes slowly. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and hops. Light-bodied with a roasty character of sweet malt and caramel, plus some hops and a touch of coffee in the background. The finish is sweet with a roast malt aftertaste. Above average overall.
