Sample at the Meadery during their beer release event. Pours dark brown with a medium khaki head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt and coffee. Light-bodied with a roasty character and flavors of malt, bittersweet chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is sweet with a roast malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
