"Steam Beer"
This beer was brewed in s "Steam Beer" tradition, although it cannot be called one, as Anchor Brewing has trademarked the name. We used a lager yeast strain fermented at warmer temperatures to bring out more ruity esthers than a traditional lager. Whole Glacier hops give this beer a floral hop aroma and a medium-bitter hop finish.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium eggshell white head head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of hops and bready malt. Light to medium body with flavors of grassy hops and sweet malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
