Sample at the taproom. Black pour with a medium thick and foamy tan head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium body with a roasty character of coffee and malt, plus a touch of hops in the background. The finish is chocolate malt and coffee. Above average overall.
