Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting IV on 10/12/2012. Pours pitch black with a medium light brown head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla and coconut. Medium to full body with flavors of toasted coconut, burnt marshmallow and oaky bourbon. The finish is sweet coconut and coffee. Above average overall.
