TFP – 005 is an experimental farmhouse ale which underwent a mixed fermentation involving beer, wine and champagne yeast. Hallertau Blanc and Mandarina Bavaria hops were used to further enhance the Gooseberry notes a Sauvignon Blanc and the fruitiness of a Gewurztraminer, thereby creating an interesting interaction between the fruity esters and soft phenols in this gem.

Tap at 3rd Culture Brewing, Maxwell Food Court, Singapore. Poured a hazy light golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus, yeast. The flavour is citrus, mouldy yeast bitter with a light crisp, fresh, yeasty, light fruity, dry mineral hop palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. As Saisons go this is a fine example, with all the defining flavours of the style but nothing overpowering.
