Tap at Brewerkz, Riverside Point. Poured a hazy dark brown colour with a frothy, lasting, off white head. The aroma is big biscuit malt, yeast, light fruits, light alcohol, dry hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth, rich, malty, light fruit, light dry aromatic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. It’s not a Westmalle Dubbel for sure. It’s somewhat more sweet and fruity, nevertheless it’s a great Dubbel but perhaps not one for a session, as it may become a little sickly over time.
