Sample at the brewpub: On the board as an "American Hellesbock", this beer pours a clear orange/amber color with a medium thin bone white head with pretty good retention. The aroma is earthy malt with some hops. Medium-bodied with tart fruit, malt and hops flavors. The finish is moderately bitter with a leafy hops aftertaste that lingers. I enjoyed this one.
