Sample at the "Ten Beers You Haven’t Had" Beer Tasting & Movie at Studio 35 during CCBW on 05/03/2015: The beer is a dark mahogany color with a medium creamy light beige head that recedes steadily to a film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, caramel and fruit in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of smoked malt, dark fruit and caramel. Slight earthy hops in the background. The finish is sweet with a charred malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
