Sample at the taproom (as Märzen) for CCBW during the "Maifest" event on 05/02/2015. The beer pours a clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, caramel and hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt, sweet caramel and mild earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
