Sample at the taproom. Pours black with some brown around the edges and a medium creamy light beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, with mild bittersweet chocolate in the background. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
