Sample at the Flatiron Park taproom. Brown-black color with a medium thick khaki head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, cherries and chocolate in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of roast malt, dark chocolate and semi-tart cherries. The finish is malty up front with a lingering cherry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
