Sample at the Aces & Ales Winter Beer Fest on 01/17/2015. Brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and raspberry. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, roast coffee and artificial raspberry. The finish is chocolatey with a mildly tart raspberry aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.
