Sample on nitro at the brewpub. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium creamy light brown head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and a bit of hops. Medium-bodied and creamy with flavors of chocolate malt, mild coffee and a touch of hops. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey aftertaste. Decent overall.
