On cask at World of Beer during the "Hop Madness" event on 03/27/2014. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, basil leaves and malt. Medium-bodied with low carbonation and flavor dominated by the Italian basil. Some oniony hops and toasted malt in the background as well. The finish is sweetly spiced with a basil and fruity hops aftertaste. Decent beer but too overwhelmed by the basil flavor.
