Sample at the taproom. Brownish-black color with a medium creamy khaki head that dissipates quickly to a film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt and coffee in the nose. Light-bodied with a roasty character of malt and coffee, along with a touch of chocolate. The finish is semi-sweet with a roast malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
