Dark Apparition - Habanero

Sample at the brewpub. Brownish-black color with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and subtle peppers. Full-bodied with flavors of dark chocolate, roast malt and habanero. The finish is malty with a slow peppery burn. Sometimes these chili beers veer too far into the spicy side but there is a good balance in this one. Pretty good overall.
