The fifth in the Redstone Reserve series. Released December 2009. A trio of honeys give this mead a velvety texture with jam and berry notes, making it similar-tasting to a port.

Sample at Kurtkeller 005: Coffee-tastic 01 on 02/08/2014. Dark plum color with decent legs on the sides of the glass. Aroma of berries and honey. Full-bodied with a nice black cherry and raspberry flavor, along with some sweet vanilla and honey in the background. The finish is vinous with a lingering sweet berry aftertaste. Very good Mead all around.
