Sample at the brewpub. Pours black with a medium foamy khaki head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coconut and dark fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of brandy, roast malt, raisins and caramel. The finish is mildly boozy with a vanilla and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
