Sample at the brewpub. Pours a nearly opaque dark brown color with a medium khaki head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Light-bodied with a roasty character of coffee and malt, along with a bit of dark chocolate. The finish is sweet with a charred malt aftertaste. Pretty good session Stout overall.
