Sample at the Columbus Microbrew Festival on 09/16/2012: Pours a dark copper-brown color with a medium foamy tan head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and hops. Medium body with a roasty character of malt and coffee, plus a touch of hops in the background. The finish is short with a mild coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.
