Sample at the Draught House brewpub. The beer pours dark brown with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of fruit, malt and wheat. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, berries and wheat. The finish is sweet with a stone fruit and wheat aftertaste. Above average overall.

Growler thanks to mora2000 via bu11zeye. Pours with a near black body and a small tan head. Aroma of banana, grain, sage, and chocolate. Some espresso. Taste is roasty, slight acidic and buttery. Nutty. Yeasty esters. Slick chocolate. Tobacco. Slightly metallic finish. Lively bubbles. Buttery.
