On firkin at the Big Lebowski / Elevator tasting at the historic Strand Theatre. The beer pours black with a thin tan head that disappears quickly. Sparse strings of lacing. Aroma of roasted coffee and vanilla. Medium, smooth body with a sweet mocha character and notes of roasted malt and vanilla. The finish is chocolatey with a lingering mild coffee aftertaste. Good brew overall.
