On draught at Barley’s Smokehouse. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head that diminishes slowly. Sticky large patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, hops and a bit of chocolate. Medium body with a roasty malt character and notes of moderately bitter citrus hops and dark chocolate. The finish is slightly spiced hops up front and leaves a sweet malt aftertaste. Well balanced and well-executed overall, this style could easily be mistaken for a Black IPA.
