The younger brother of Sodom our collaboration with Three Floyds. This small stout was brewed with the second runnings of the mash and Amarillo and Chinook hops.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted coffee and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, coffee and hops. The finish is roasty with a bittersweet chocolate and coffee aftertaste. Proof that a flavorful session Stout can exist. Good overall.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured dark brown with a brown head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma was full of roasted malts with some coffee and a slight hop bitterness. Flavor was similar with coffee mellowing to more of a roasted finish combined with a slight pine bitterness. Nice and smooth texture.
