Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a small foamy beige head that left good lacing. The aroma was sour and rancid nut. The flavor was nutty and fairly sour and wood with an off almost rancid element. Very long sour rancid nut finish. Medium body. Revolting.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear pale amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt, plus a touch of hops. Medium body with a sweet malty character that has notes of caramel and hops. The finish is sweet with a toasted malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
