Sample at Jackie O’s as part of Ohio Brew Week. Pours black with a thin beige head that recedes to an outer ring. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla and a bit of coffee. Rich, smooth body with a vanilla and white chocolate character along with some coffee and malt. The finish is like a vanilla mocha. Good beer all around.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery during the 5th anniversary party. Poured near black with an opaque edge and a gray head that dissipated quickly to the edge. Aroma had a main vanilla note that was backed by dark chocolate and roasted malt notes. Flavor had a nice balance of dark chocolate, roasted malt, and vanilla with a hint of an alcohol finish.
