Sample from a bottle at Jackie O’s as part of Ohio Brew Week. Pours a hazy reddish-brown color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Berries and malt in the nose. Medium body with a tart fruity character and notes of sweet malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with a raspberry aftertaste. Decent overall.

6th Annual MBG Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Murky red body, medium to thin pinkish off-white head. Sour and sweet nose with blackberries and raspberries. Tangy body, somewhat sour but primarily sweet and tangy, also soapy with grassy wheat notes. Tastes artificially sweetened and not very funky.
