Cask version at Winking Lizard’s 3rd Annual Real Ale Fest (03/26/11): The beer pours black with a thin tan head that disappears quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is roasty with notes of malt and nuts. Rich, smooth body with flavors of roasted nuts, malt and chocolate. The coconut seems to be more in the texture than the flavor. The finish is sweet and malty. Good beer all around.
