Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a mostly clear mahogany color with a medium light beige head that dissipates to a film. Patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted nuts and malt in the nose. Medium, smooth body with flavors of roasted malt, honey nuts, and mild hops. The finish is sweet and nutty with the malty flavor lingering. Decent overall.

Draft at Ice Axe Grill, Government Camp, OR. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty nutty caramel aroma. Roasted malty nutty caramel flavor with some hints of chocolate. Has a roasted malty caramel finish with some nutty hints in the aftertaste.
