Paddler’s Pale Ale is a traditional pale ale, with a medium copper color and a balanced character of floral hops and rounded malts. The floral hops have a hint of citrus while the malt flavors lean toward toasted bread, caramel, and a bit of cocoa-like roasted malt. The balanced hoppy finish is smooth with the slightest touch of malt sweetness, making Paddler’s an excellent session ale.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Hoppy aroma with notes of bready malt behind it. Medium body with a somewhat hoppy flavor that has citrusy qualities. Notes of caramel malt and flowers as well. The finish is hoppy with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.
