Mexican mole milk stout aged in Tequila and Bourbon barrels. It's got an incredibly unique complexity -- layers of smokey cigar meet with oaky heat while the underlying slow-burn of spicy peppers and sweet lactose make it the perfect beer to pair with a Havana sunset.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, small creamy tan head, dissipates fairly quickly, good lacing. Aroma is rich, coconuts, cocoa, marshmallow, vanilla, pepper. Flavor is fully sweet, light bitter, cinnamon, light pepper spiciness grows a bit with drinking. Full body. Excellent.

500ml bottle, thanks Otso! 2016 vintage. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of spices, cinnamon, roasty malts, coffee, chili, tequila, wood, agave, oak and vanilla. Taste is sweet, creamy, smooth and slightly roasty with loads of spices, chili, cinnamon, wood, tequila, oak, vanilla and bourbon. Finish is sweet, spicy and slightly roasty with some milky chocolate, wood, tequila and agave. Pretty complex and nice slow sipper.

50cl bottle via trade in Brussels. Anno 2016.

1/IV/17 - 500ml bottle @ Seb's Short Visit Home Tasting (my home) - BB: n/a, bottled: n/a (2017-423) Thanks to sebletitje for sharing the bottle!

Clear dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: oh yeah, wow! Very complex! Deep dark chocolate, lots of cinnamon, sweet and sugary notes, caramel, some dried fruits, soft roast, more chocolate. MF: soft to practically no carbon, thick full body. Taste: sweet, caramel, sugary, milk chocolate, lovely stuff! Some chillies, bit fruity, dried fruits. Aftertaste: lots and lots of cinnamon, caramel, chocolate, crème brûlée, lovely stuff!

Bottle shared big thanks to RandomStrangerNL. Black with a short lived tan head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, fruity chillis, dark chocolate, fudge, tequila, coffee, light raisins and marzipan. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with chili warmth and soft carbonation.

500 ml bottle. I’m not sure if got shaken or something, but the bottle gushed a whole bunch upon opening. I’m not really getting any clear infection flavors, so it’s probably nothing. Black beer with a brown head. Moderate barrel character. Lots of fudgey dark chocolate. Mild roast. Sweet caramel. Moderate vanilla. Coffee and chiles are both on the milder side. Pretty sweet. Barrel is still light up front but picks up a bunch in the finish with some spice - cinnamon, pepper - and fruity tequila flavor. Very nice chile burn. Again, not too much coffee. Pretty good hit of vanilla in there. Little booziness. Full, creamy feel. I liked this one more than expected. Tasty mix of flavors, nothing is too intense. Very easy to drink.
