Mexican mole milk stout aged in Tequila and Bourbon barrels. It's got an incredibly unique complexity -- layers of smokey cigar meet with oaky heat while the underlying slow-burn of spicy peppers and sweet lactose make it the perfect beer to pair with a Havana sunset.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Almost opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate still has decent fine carbonation. Rich dark malts. Lots of coconut, dark chocolate and what tastes more like fruity bourbon than tequila. Some spice coming through with more coconut, this time accompanied by dark fruits. Light spicy finish. Very nice number.

Bottle shared in London - picked up in a trade. Pours deep black-brown with a fine, creamy tan head. Rich chocolate in the nose, coconut, burnt honey. Medium to big sweet flavour with gooey chocolate, some chili spice, raisins, toffee, maybe faint cinnamon. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish both from alcohol and the chilies, more oily coconut, gooey chocolate. Really lovely stuff. Sweet, with nice depth.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich roast, bitter - sweet, creamy, French toast, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, bounty bar, cacao, dull chilli spice and coffee. The taste is smooth, rich roasted malts, espresso, chilli spice, dark chocolate bounty bar, vanilla, wood and alcohol warmth through the finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Rich and flavoursome. Tasty stuff.
