Tap at Chinaski, Madrid, 29th November 23. Pours a viscous black beer. Aroma is heady, liquor, dark chocolate and wood, complex. Taste is sublime, rich, smooth, complex, barrel, liquor ,dark fruits and vanilla. Outstanding

bottle - sampled. Remarkable is probably the best word to describe this. Incredible flavor, thick but drinkable. Vanilla notes great. Awesome!

Smell of rye bread, chocolate, roasted malt. Black colour, no head. Aroma of vanilla, mudcake, some roasted malt, finishes with oak. Also boozy sweetness. Soft carbon, slick texture. Sweet.

Medium body, a bit oily. Sweet, boozy. Strong bourbon and vanilla, dark chocolate, rich, smooth. Better than in a while, excellent.

Draft at Frontaal Little Bar in Utrecht. Never thought I would have to chance to taste this draft over here in The Netherlands. 2023 edition, 13% according to the bar. Color: Pitch black, no head. Aroma: Marshmellow, roasted malt, vanilla. Taste: Marshmellow, roasted malt, vanilla, dark chocolate / cocoa, charred oak wood, some coffee, fudge. Medium to over medium sweet, over moderate bitterness. Sticky but not too sticky. Full body, low carbonation. So very well balanced. Not only overly sweet... Overhyped over here because it was almost impossible to get untill recently, but I have to say that it's a great slow sipper for sure! I just have to give this 5 out of 5...

Beer Zombies. Only option is a 5oz glass. Murky brown on black short pour, cookie head. Sugar cookie nose, chocolate dipped, a little tea. Boozy sugar cookie, sharp but fleeting coffee, heavy blend of booze barrels, slight acidity, rich chocolate, heavy creme. Honestly it's not too complex. Rich but not overwhelming body, slight earthy bitterness kicks in right of the end. Tasty but not a top 50 IMHO.

Solid powerful beer. Almost complete black in the glass Solid and nice aroma Thick oily stuff and a balanced sweetness for a beer at this level Also a well masked alcohol level Dark malty, oak, toffe, chocolate and vanilla in the flavor [Bottle at Sørjordet Plaza in Drammen, Norway]
