A session strength, no-adjunct, no-nonsense Porter at 4.4%. A whole host of dark malts for a complex depth and smooth chocolate biscuit finish. No pale malts, all speciality grains for many layers in a weak, black beer.

Can at home picked up from the brewery online shop, A clear cola brown coloured pour with a lasting biege cap. Aroma is nice toasted hazelnut, roasted malts, hint of liquorice, light smoked. woody bark. Palate is semi sweet, light tangy roast, highish carbonation, Flavour is composed of nice layered roasted toasted nuts, hazelnut, light strawberry tray bake, robust roast, pinch of salt. Nice robust flavoursome roast.
